2010 EBLEX BRP IMPROVED HERD

The NEW CLOSE HERD has been awared 2nd place for the 2010 Progressive Award for the British Blue Breed.

This is an annual award made to English producers by EBLEX based on Breedplan data which indicates that the herd has made a significant genetic improvement over the past 12 months.

EBLEX engage in this activity in an effort to help the industry to be sucessful in promoting the value of purchasing recorded animals to both pedigree and commercial buyers.

Their intention of using Improved Herd Awards is to increase the awareness and profile of genetic improvement through performance recording.
